Inquiry Training Model was developed with an aim of training students in the process of investigating and explaining unusual phenomenon.
COMPONENTS OF INQUIRY TRAINING MODEL
- Syntax: It involves five phases.
- Phase one: Confrontation with the puzzling situation
- Phase two: Data gathering - verification
- Phase three: Data gathering - experimentation
- Phase four: Organizing the data and formulating and explanation
- Phase five: Analysis of the inquiry process.
