Teaching with analogy means teaching an unfamiliar concept by comparing its similarities with familiar concept. the unfamiliar concept is called "target" and the familiar concept is called "analog".
In my lesson, the target concept was "cell structure" and analog concept was "school". I compared different features and more focus was laid on similarities in the functions of features of analog concept and target concept.
