SCI-FUN

"SCI-FUN" as the name itself says, "SCIENCE FOR FUN"

 Sci-Fun is an activity based program which enhances the knowledge of students through hands on activities in which complex concepts are made simple.

The whole program is inspired by Mr. Arvind Gupta’s ideas, planned and organised by Associate professor of GVM’S Dr. Dada Vaidya College of Education, Dr. Ana Neena George.

In this program, we emphasize on using throw away waste to make objects through which scientific concepts can be understood and visualized.

These Sci-Fun  objects  are cost efficient and can be easily made by the students.

I participated for Sci-Fun program in three schools viz. MIBK High School, Khandepaar, Pragati Vidyalaya High School Borim and Government High School Sadar Ponda. 

In these school, I presented an activity called BALLOON INFLATING MAGIC. It is a chemistry activity which explains the reaction between acetic acid (vinegar) and sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) through an innovative way.
